Jessica Simpson has been fuelling rumors she is dating ‘Wedding Crashers’ star Owen Wilson after the pair shared Sunday evening at a Santa Monica hotel. According to onlookers, the Huntley Hotel saw the couple arrived separately and chat for over an hour before leaving, reports the Daily Mirror. However, previous reports claimed Jessica was dating former co-star Dax Shepard. “Dax and Jessica met when they were filming together and really liked each other, but nothing ever happened,” a source was quoted, as saying. “They kept in touch, and as soon as they both became single, there’s been some serious flirting going on.” “Dax made the first move. He just thought, ‘Why not?’ Jessica was thrilled when he asked her out,” added the source. Dax Shepard recently split from Owen Wilson’s former fiancée Kate Hudson.
